Job summary

The TemPositions Group seeks an experienced Investigative Paralegal to be the main contact for medical malpractice intakes and to interact directly with clients with empathy and professionalism.

Ideal candidates will manage a demanding caseload, conduct detailed medical records reviews, and support attorneys by researching potential expert consultants, drafting, and proofreading essential documents while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of medical malpractice experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Willingness or experience with case management software such as Filevine.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex medical malpractice caseload and medical records requests.
• Perform detailed medical records reviews and assist with expert consultant research.
• Prepare attorneys for investigations and facilitate communications with clients, experts, vendors, and referring attorneys.
• Demonstrate strong time management to handle multiple projects with changing deadlines.
• Draft and proof documents for settlement processes and case preparation.
