You will handle meaningful defense matters, develop case strategies, and collaborate with partners to advance complex litigation through trial.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of defense experience, CA admission, and strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice in CA.
• Minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice.
• Nursing home defense experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload focused on medical malpractice claims.
• Collaborate with attorneys, team members, and partners on strategic projects.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, motion hearings, and trial participation.
• Maintain regular client communication with detailed case updates.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Contribute to case strategies and assist senior team members in trials and settlements.
