How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Provide assistance in computer searches, inter-library loans, cataloging, reference, acquisitions, and system development and maintenance.
  • Provide reference, research, and document delivery services to support information needs of patrons.
  • Administer and maintain library collection including electronic books and journals, reports and bibliographic tools to ensure an adequate and up-to-date collection that meets the practice educational and research-related needs of healthcare providers and associates.
  • Data and content management including linking of resources and API.

Education

What minimum requirements you’ll need

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What Additional Preferences We’re Seeking

  • Master degree from an accredited university or college with 5-10 years medical or academic health librarian experience
  • Experience with budget management, collection development including procurement, expert health and or medical research experience, including expert literature or systematic search health database skills
  • Demonstrated virtual service, education and orientation experience, electronic content management, cataloging and creation of educational materials and library guides
  • Remote work experience
