HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician PRN to join a 340+ bed acute care hospital in Pasadena, TX. The role includes collecting blood, running tests, entering data, and supporting the lab team under supervision.

The candidate should have MLT (ASCP) certification, an associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, and ideally one year of lab experience. This PRN position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a leading healthcare

Qualifications

• License/ Certifications/ Requirements: Must possess MLT or equivalent certification, or be eligible to sit for exam.
• Certification as MLT (ASCP).
• Requires Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• Experience: Prefer one year of experience in one of the Laboratory Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and performs tests per lab protocols.
• Inputs patient information and test results into the system.
• Operates and maintains lab equipment; reports critical values per SOP.
• Provides support to the laboratory supervisor/manager as directed.
