Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory forms, requisitions, logs and charges.
• Understanding specimen requirements, processing, handling and rejection criteria.
• Ability to perform manual and automated test procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and perform troubleshooting.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and disaster policies.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care across neonate to geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cooperation of hospital staff in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
• Provide outstanding service to patients, physicians, staff, and guests.
• Proactively complete tasks and offer help without being asked.
• Seek guidance when needed and manage priorities for service demands.
• Detect and correct errors in work and others' work.
