Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a Medical Lab Technician PRN to perform routine and specialized tests across bacteriology, hematology, chemistry and immunology under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager. You will maintain required competencies, ensure accuracy, follow safety and infection-control policies, and communicate with physicians, nurses and records to support patient care.

An associate degree in a CLT/MLT program with ASCP preferred and 1 year of clinical lab experience

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Chemical/Physical/Biological/MLT/CLT from an accredited program.
• MLT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year clinical lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, complex, or specialized laboratory testing across multiple disciplines.
• Maintain competencies and demonstrate accuracy in reporting results.
• Adhere to patient safety, infection control and quality control policies.
• Communicate effectively with care teams to ensure continuity of care.
