Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Pueblo, CO, seeks a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician to join a growing laboratory team. You will perform phlebotomy, specimen handling and comprehensive analyses across chemistry, hematology and immunology, ensuring accurate results for patient care.

Qualifications include an Associates degree in medical technology or laboratory science and strong phlebotomy skills; state licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical technology or laboratory science required.
• Strong phlebotomy skills required.
• Current state license if required; certification (AMT/ASCP or equivalent) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and sample collection procedures.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and record-keeping.
• Perform chemistry, hematology and immunology analyses and maintain instruments.
• Keep quality control logs, calibrations and instrument maintenance records.
• Prepare and evaluate peripheral blood smears and differential counts.
• Handle specimen send-outs and reference laboratory testing as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up of critical results.
