Job summary

Diagnostic Laboratories & Radiology is seeking a dedicated full-time Medical Technologist to ensure accurate and timely testing per physicians' orders. You will handle specimen processing, verification of identifications, and communication with clinical staff while maintaining strict quality control.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, CLIA High-Complexity credentials, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills for a fast-paced laboratory environment in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing.
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical judgment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with physicians, facilities and lab staff.
• Fast-paced environment requires accuracy and efficiency.
• Customer service orientation and initiative are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow specimen handling and processing procedures and maintain patient test result records.
• Ensure correct patient and specimen identification and proper sample type collection.
• Verify test results and manage delta checks, redraws, or rejections as needed.
• Maintain quality control documentation and instrument calibrations/maintenance.
• Communicate with nurses and physicians and work effectively with the team.
• Assist Lead CLS with inventory, supplies and quality control improvements.
• Implement approved technical and administrative changes to improve lab operations.
