Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Technician V to support our client’s medical facility based in Nashville, TN 37236. This is a 10-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Medical Lab Technician V

Pay Range: $35- $38 per hour

1st and 3rd Shift Available

Duration: 10 Months +

*The salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing patient testing for busy Core Lab working Hematology, coagulation, chemistry and urinalysis.
• Performing patient testing, bone marrow collection, staining, processing
• Supporting various departments such as Hem, Coag, Urine, Oncology Floor, Dispatch or accessioning, Microbiology, and respiratory testing

Education:

• Prefer bachelor’s degree; MLT certification preferred
• Certifications: ASCP or AMT

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science
• OR a BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science from an accredited college with at least 1 year of relevant training or experience
• OR 90 Semester hours including Biology, Chemistry (at least 6 hours inorganic), and Math, plus completion of an accredited Clinical Laboratory training program or equivalent experience
• OR an Associate’s degree in medical technology
