Job Opportunity: Medical Lab Technician V

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Technician V to support our client's medical facility in Nashville, TN 37236. This is a 10-month assignment with potential for contract-to-hire and a great opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Job Details

1. Location: Nashville, TN 37236
2. Pay Range: $35 - $38 per hour
3. Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating every 3rd weekend; 6am-2:30pm or 10pm-6am
4. Shift Availability: 1st and 3rd shifts
5. Duration: 10 months +

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient testing in a busy Core Lab, including Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, and Urinalysis.
• Conduct bone marrow collection, staining, and processing.
• Support various departments including Hem, Coag, Urine, Oncology, Dispatch, and Microbiology.

Qualifications

Education:

• Preferably a Bachelor's degree; MLT considered.
• Certification: ASCP or AMT.
• Experience with LIS systems such as Cerner Pathnet.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, or
• BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science with at least 1 year of relevant training or experience, or
• 90 Semester hours including Biology, Chemistry, and Math, plus clinical laboratory training or experience, or
• Associate's degree in Medical Technology.

This role involves supporting various testing areas and requires relevant educational background and certifications.
