The Medical Laboratory Technician, under the supervision of the technical supervisor, general supervisor, and/or the laboratory director, processes specimens, performs test procedures, maintains equipment, and reports test results. Demonstrates an understanding of technical processes, procedures, and quality control requirements of the testing methods authorized to perform.
Schedule: Part-time, Tuesday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm; includes some rotating Saturdays

Must possess a current state license as a Medical Laboratory Technician (or equivalent terminology), general or specialty area, in the state where the employee works. For those states without a state license, a nationally recognized certification in the clinical laboratory profession is required.
