Qualifications

• Associate degree in ASCP eligible program or equivalent.
• Meet ongoing education requirements for certification.
• Preferred clinical laboratory experience.
• Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex laboratory analyses on clinical specimens.
• Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and linearity for test methods.
• Operates, calibrates, checks and maintains instrumentation.
• Participates in ongoing technology updates and training.
• May collect/process patient specimens as per policy and timelines.
• Maintains cleanliness and supplies for efficient operations.
• Mentors MT/MLT, phlebotomy, and lab processor students and new staff.
