Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA high complexity testing requirements.
• One year healthcare or lab experience preferred.
• ASCP, AMT or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens and perform high/moderate complexity testing.
• Evaluate specimens and test orders for acceptability.
• Follow SOPs for testing and reporting results.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Maintain quality control records and instrument calibrations.
• Participate in proficiency testing and ensure proper handling of samples.
• Manage inventory and assist with training of staff and students.
• Adhere to Atlantic Health safety procedures.
