Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA personnel requirements for High Complexity testing (MD/DO with license or doctoral/master's/bachelor's/associate in related science).
• Experience in healthcare or lab settings preferred.
• ASCP/AMT or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens and evaluate test orders for acceptability.
• Perform high/moderate complexity testing per SOPs.
• Report results with clinical correlation as applicable.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Follow quality control policies and document calibrations.
• Engage in proficiency testing and ensure proper sample handling.
• Manage inventory and monitor supply expiration dates.
• Assist with training of team members and students.
• Comply with Atlantic Health safety procedures.
