Responsibilities

• Receives, prepares and analyzes specimens according to standard protocols.
• Performs routine and specialized laboratory tests; records and interprets results.
• Performs quality control and instrument maintenance; calibrates equipment.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with safety regulations.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and proficiency testing requirements.
• Performs phlebotomy as needed and assists with inventory management.
