Job summary

You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain quality control, document calibrations, collaborate with teams, train staff, manage inventory, and uphold safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with high/moderate complexity testing and QC procedures.
• Follows approved SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and report accurate results.
• Familiarity with HIS/LIS systems and instrument calibration records.
• Training and safety compliance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimens and test orders for acceptability.
• Follow SOPs for specimen testing.
• Correlate test results with diagnosis when applicable.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot technical equipment.
• Document quality control and calibration records.
• Participate in proficiency testing and ensure samples treated as patient samples.
• Manage inventory and monitor supply expiration dates.
• Assist with training of team members and students.
• Adhere to Atlantic Health safety procedures.
