Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA personnel requirements for High Complexity testing.
• One year healthcare or lab-related work experience preferred.
• ASCP, AMT or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specimen processing and accessioning according to guidelines.
• Performs high/moderate complexity testing.
• Reports results with interpretation and correlation as applicable.
• Operates, maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment.
• Follows quality control policies and documents calibrations.
• Participates in proficiency testing and ensures proper sample handling.
• Manages inventory and checks supply expiration dates.
• Assists with training of team members and students.
• Observes safety procedures and regulations.
