Qualificações

• Baccalaureate degree with a science concentration is required.
• ASCP Board of Registry or AMT certification preferred for Medical Laboratory personnel.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to perform moderately complex tests.
• Excellent manual dexterity and accuracy under time pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Verify sample identification and acceptability of the sample and order per procedures.
• Prepare specimens and perform complex tests using automated equipment per protocols.
• Run QC/calibration, document results, and troubleshoot instruments as needed.
• Enter results into the LIS and report critical results to providers promptly.
• Assist with inventory, mentor new colleagues, and participate in QA/QI projects.
