Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Seattle, WA seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist I to join our state-of-the-art team. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotating weekends. You will perform moderate/high complexity tests, ensure quality control, and document results in our LIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology, or related field is required.
• ASCP Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum one year of full-time experience or training in high complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report analytical tests per SOPs ensuring QC requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records and input results into the LIS for physician review.
• Adhere to safety, HIPAA, CLIA, and lab policies; communicate issues to supervision.
• Assist with training of other personnel when needed.
