Vetted Solutions is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join a state-of-the-art laboratory team. You will perform and report diverse analyses from multiple specimen sources to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key duties include maintaining instruments, troubleshooting, quality control, proper specimen handling, and assisting in training new staff. A BS in science and an accredited MLS program or certification are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree from an accredited institution.
• ASCP/NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Science program or relevant certification.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
• Ability to handle specimens accurately, troubleshoot instruments, and navigate computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests, maintain instrument functionality, troubleshoot, and perform quality control.
• Proper specimen handling, identification, accessioning, and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage reagent and supply replenishment per protocols.
• Use multiple computer applications and follow reporting procedures.
