Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and report analyses from multiple specimen sources to support high-quality patient care.

The role involves specimen handling, instrument maintenance, quality control, and timely reporting. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree and be ASCP/NAACLS-certified or eligible; clinical experience is preferred; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• ASCP/NAACLS-accredited MLS program or equivalent certification.
• Clinical laboratory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage specimen handling, identification, and accessioning procedures.
• Perform instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Replenish supplies and follow established reporting protocols.
• Access multiple computer applications and assist in training new staff.
• Participate in educational activities and maintain current knowledge in laboratory sciences.

Join a state-of-the-art laboratory team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, responsible for performing and reporting various analyses from multiple specimen sources to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Managing specimen handling, identification, and accessioning procedures
• Performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control
• Replenishing supplies and following established reporting protocols
• Accessing multiple computer applications and assisting in training new staff

Qualifications:
