Live Well Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician to perform and report analyses from various specimens, supporting high-quality patient care in our clinical laboratory. Responsibilities include specimen handling, instrument maintenance, QC, training staff, and contributing to education.

A Bachelor’s or an Associate with MLT certification is required; clinical lab experience is preferred; a signing bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with MLT certification.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Technology/MLS program or equivalent experience.
• Clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing specimen collection, identification, and proper handling.
• Using accessioning procedures and recognizing discrepancies.
• Performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Replenishing supplies and following reporting protocols.
• Navigating multiple computer applications and assisting in training new staff.
• Participating in educational activities and maintaining competency exams.

• Preferred experience in a clinical laboratory setting
