Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College seeks an Assistant Clinical Coordinator/Instructor for the Medical Laboratory Program. This part-time position will work up to 19 hours per week, coordinating student rotations and delivering instruction in lab and academic settings.

The role requires MLT/MLS certification, an associate degree, and 2+ years of MLS/MLT experience. Preference for candidates with clinical education experience and Blackboard LMS familiarity.

Qualifications

• MLT or MLS ASCP certification required.
• Associate's degree in MLT or health-related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an MLT/MLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinical Coordinator with student rotation placements.
• Conduct site visits to monitor clinicals and student progress.
• Instruct students in assigned class or lab per syllabus and program policies.
• Utilize online instruction methods as needed to reach students.
• Fill in for absent instructors as required.
• Mentor, tutor, and advise program students.
• Proctor and evaluate student psychomotor skills in lab and practicum.
• Operate laboratory equipment effectively and safely.
• Maintain and organize lab spaces with faculty.
• Attend recruitment events and respond to communications promptly.
• Complete required professional development and other college duties.
• Other duties as assigned by Program Director or College Administration.
