Job summary

Southern Crescent Technical College seeks an Instructor, Medical Laboratory Technology Program Director to lead the MLT program, ensure NAACLS accreditation, and deliver on-campus, lab, and online courses. You will design curricula, manage budgets, and supervise students in clinical settings.

The role requires a Master's in a related field, national certification (MLS/MT/MLT), and prior teaching or clinical leadership experience. Travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in medical laboratory science or related field.
• Current national certification such as MLS/MT/MLT from an approved body.
• Minimum three years of teaching, clinical instruction, or lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of the MLT program.
• Ensure compliance with NAACLS accreditation standards.
• Teach on-campus, laboratory, and online courses day and evening.
• Prepare lesson plans for classroom, laboratory and online instruction.
• Develop and update course curricula, syllabi, and program goals.
• Oversee program budgets, equipment and resources.
