Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related life science.
• Florida State Licensure required or eligible.
• Ability to pass visual discrimination assessment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards in routine and STAT testing.
• Complete work in a timely manner.
• Write legibly when documenting QC and information.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Review communication logs.
• Prepare for shift by gathering needed supplies and reagents.
• Perform and document required maintenance on equipment.
• Review calibration and QC prior to testing.
• Perform calibrations and quality control as needed.
• Review results before releasing.
• Review pendings at end of shift.
• Follow repeat protocol and review check sheets.
• Operate with minimal supervision and inform supervisor of supply inventory.
• Understand all laboratory policies and procedures.
