Job summary

Patient First seeks a laboratory technician to deliver quality, rapid lab results while adhering to established laboratory procedures, safety guidelines, and accurate reporting. You will handle specimen processing, maintain records, and support the medical team in a busy clinical setting.

You will assist Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses, obtain vitals, triage patients, and prepare individuals for exams. The role requires CPR certification, familiarity with lab instrumentation, and flexibility

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with required college hours or degree.
• Annual CPR certification requirement; ability to lift 20–50 lbs.
• Experience in clinical laboratory testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and rapid lab results following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Order lab, x-ray, and medical supplies in the medical record system.
• Assist Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient care and triage.
• Maintain calibration records and document quality control activities.
• Attend mandatory trainings and staff meetings; be willing to work at any center as needed.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment per training and SOPs.
