Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Technologist for the Atrium Health Cleveland - Lab. The candidate must have an associate degree or CLIA-equivalent training and MLT certification within one year of hire. You will perform tests according to QA guidelines and support accreditation efforts.

In a fast-paced clinical setting, you will prepare reagents, manage inventory, document actions, and communicate with leadership across shifts. Shifts may include nights and weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Must have an associate degree or equivalent education as defined by CLIA.
• MLT (ASCP/AMT) certification or eligible within one year of hire.
• Must be able to adhere to CAP, TJC, OSHA accreditation requirements.

• Demonstrates proficiency and follows testing procedures and QA guidelines; documents corrective action for non-conforming events.
• Prepares reagents; maintains materials; manages inventory to reduce waste/expense.
• Exercises clinical judgment in prioritizing and troubleshooting test systems via department channels.
• Reviews and revises procedures to support accreditation; adheres to CAP, TJC, OSHA requirements.
• Maintains real-time shift-to-shift communications with leadership about issues affecting patient care or operations.
• Participates in planning and execution of changes via staff meetings, task forces, or projects.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
