Job summary

UW Health Belvidere Hospital, 1625 S State St, Belvidere, IL, seeks a Medical Lab Technician/Scientist to perform diagnostic laboratory testing across multiple specialties. You will use advanced instrumentation and collaborate with physicians to deliver timely results that guide patient care.

This 90% FTE role runs 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, three days per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. The compensation package includes PTO, health/dental/vision, retirement, disability, parental leave, tuition

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical technology is required.
• Must provide copy of high school diploma or equivalent; required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic laboratory testing across multiple specialties.
• Utilize advanced laboratory instrumentation with emphasis on quality and reliability.
• Partner with physicians and clinicians to deliver timely information for patient care.
• Contribute to quality assurance, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
