Base pay range

$24.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Description

Location: UCHealth Broomfield Hospital, CO, Broomfield

Department: BF Laboratory

FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0 hours per pay period

Shift: Flex

Pay: $24.11 - $36.17 / hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens, interpret, document, and report test results.
• Perform quality control testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with good laboratory practices and regulatory requirements.
• Complete assigned projects and serve as a resource to laboratory and clinical staff.
• Apply critical thinking, decisive judgment, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, or equivalent military medical laboratory training and experience.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by ASCP or AMT, obtained within 90 days of hire; state licensure if required.
