Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our clinical team. You will collect blood, perform analyses across hematology, chemistry, immunohematology, POCT, and urine microscopy, and enter data into our information systems.

Qualifications

• License/certifications required: MLT or eligible to sit for MLT exam.
• Certification as MLT (ASCP) is required.
• Requires Associate Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• Prefer 1 year of experience in one of the Laboratory Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and perform tests as directed.
• Input patient information and test results into the computer system.
• Maintain reagents and supplies and ensure safe, clean work area.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary sticks (infants to adults) as needed.
