Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency and follows testing procedures per quality assurance guidelines.
• Prepares reagents and maintains an adequate supply of materials, manages inventory to reduce waste.
• Exercises clinical judgment to prioritize and troubleshoot test systems with appropriate departments.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with CAP, TJC, OSHA and related authorities.
• Maintains real time shift-to-shift communication with leadership.
• Participates in planning and implements changes through staff meetings or projects.
• Participates in competency assessment programs where qualified.
