Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar laboratory (non-testing area).
• For testing areas: >4 years in a designated testing specialty in a CLIA lab.
• For testing areas: Bachelor's degree with >2 years in a designated testing specialty in a CLIA lab.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop and implement new or improved procedures and instrumentation; perform quality control, quality improvement, regulatory tasks, manage supplies, daily operations, and schedules.
• Uphold applicable laws/regulations; maintain knowledge of techniques, procedures, and protocols; review procedures as required.
• Maintain a safe environment; wear PPE; report spills and hazards; follow disclosure guidelines.
• In Lab Testing Areas: fulfill CLIA General Supervisor role for High Complexity testing and Technical Consultant for Moderate Complexity testing.
