• Performs routine and complex technical procedures in the laboratory information system in an adequate and timely manner, including phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing, reporting, and storage.
• Maintains knowledge of techniques, procedures, and protocols; reviews and acknowledges procedures as required.
• Delivers service excellence and quality patient care by adapting communication to diverse audiences and addressing problems with basic troubleshooting.
• Maintains a safe environment and follows PPE guidelines while reporting spills or hazards.
• Participates in quality assurance, continuing education, and department meetings.
