Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an ASCP/NAACLS-accredited program or equivalent certification.
• At least four years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and training skills.
• Ability to interpret specialized testing and ensure quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Executing technical duties and serving as a technical expert for instrumentation and testing platforms.
• Troubleshooting and resolving instrument issues.
• Making operational decisions in the absence of senior staff.
• Assisting with evaluation, validation of new products, assays, and methods.
• Implementing new testing procedures, maintaining quality control, proficiency testing, and inventory management.
• Participating in training, review of procedures, and committee activities to promote best practices.
• Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and maintaining current knowledge through educational activities.
