Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare laboratory team and report analyses from diverse specimens to support high-quality patient care.

The role involves managing multiple workflows, verifying patient and specimen details, performing instrument maintenance and quality control, and contributing to training and ongoing competency development within a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• MLS requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with certification or experience.
• MLT requires an Associate degree with certification or eligibility.
• Military experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple work processes efficiently and handle specimens accurately.
• Confirm patient and specimen details, and perform instrument maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, perform quality control, and replenish supplies.
• Follow reporting protocols and navigate computer applications.
• Assist in training new staff and maintain current knowledge through education.
• Complete competency exams successfully.
