Job summary

UCHealth UCHlth Broomfield Hospital in Colorado is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing across laboratory sections on a full-time, days-shift basis. The role is onsite with no remote option and pays $33.82 to $50.73 per hour, depending on experience.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and licensure as MT/MLS per ASCP/AMT guidelines, with certification obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; graduate of accredited Medical Technologist or MLS program.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens. Interprets, documents and reports test results.
• Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Complies with good laboratory practice and regulatory requirements.
• Performs projects as assigned as well as serves as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education
