Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Longmont, CO is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our team. This full-time role runs Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm and supports hematology testing, specimen processing, and quality control.

Salary ranges posted: MLT $28.00-35.00 per hour; MLS $35.00-45.00 per hour, with pay based on education, experience and certifications. Benefits include health, dental and vision plans, 401(k), PTO and more.

Qualifications

• MLT requires an Associate degree and state license if required.
• MLS requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• AMT/ASCP certification preferred but not required.
• Strong phlebotomy skills required.
• Background checks and non-federal drug testing post offer of employment and prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and recordkeeping.
• Perform hematology specimen analysis and daily instrument maintenance.
• Maintain quality control, calibrations, and document lot numbers.
