UCHealth’s PVH Transfusion Service in Fort Collins, CO, seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing on patient specimens. This onsite role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology/MLS and MT/MLS certification, with licensure within 90 days of hire.

The position is PRN with a flex shift and is paid hourly based on experience. Pay ranges from $33.82 to $50.73 per hour, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program.
• Certification as MT/MLS by AMT/ASCP or categorical ASCP certification applicable to job responsibilities. State licensure if required. Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Performs diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens. Interprets, documents and reports test results.
• Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Complies with good laboratory practice and regulatory requirements.
• Performs projects as assigned and serves as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
