Renown Health in Nevada is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a per diem position to support 24/7 lab operations. You will perform laboratory analyses on blood, body fluids, and tissue specimens and report results to hospital staff with accuracy and courtesy.

The role requires instrument operation, quality control, and potential involvement in specimen collection and information system procedures. Licensing eligibility within 7 months and MLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to perform duties safely and effectively.
• Recent general clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems and reporting procedures.

Responsabilités

• Perform laboratory analytical procedures on blood, body fluids, and tissue specimens.
• Operate instruments, perform quality control, and report results per policies.
• May assist with specimen collection, handling, and related information system tasks.
• Ensure timely and accurate results to nursing staff and physicians; communicate delays as needed.
