Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a 4-year degree in medical technology or related science and ASCP/AMT certification within 12 months. Experience with training staff on equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field.
• NAACLS MT program preferred.
• 1 year laboratory scientist experience preferred.
• New graduates must obtain ASCP/AMT certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical evaluation of blood and body fluids and report results.
• Carry out all laboratory procedures including quality control, specimen processing, and reporting.
• Assist in orientation and training of personnel on equipment and software.
