MaineHealth's NorDx is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Assistant I to support pre-analytical workflows in patient care areas. You will collect specimens, perform phlebotomy, process samples, and enter orders under supervision.
The role represents the lab in multiple settings, requiring attention to quality and accuracy. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with MLA/PBT certification preferred and a valid driver's license may be required.
Experienced, qualified applicants are eligible for a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus. This bonus will be prorated forPart Timeor Per Diem positions. Please note this bonus is not available to current MaineHealth employees or prior employees that have been separated for less than 6 months.

The Medical Laboratory Assistant I role represents the organization in all patient settings serving as a liaison and performs key pre-analytical functions, such as specimen collection, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and order entry.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
The pay range for this position is $19.87 to $23.75 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
