Carle Health is seeking a Lab Administrative Assistant to support billing, coding, transcription, and patient registration within the laboratory department. The role requires accuracy in ICD/CPT coding, strong knowledge of medical terminology, and experience with EMR systems.

You will interact with internal staff and external customers, document and follow up on issues, and help maintain a professional service standard across the lab and related departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and billing processes.

Responsabilités

• Billing: prepare charge documents and assist in ICD/CPT coding for Lab charges.
• Result Reporting: register patients, enter orders, and transcribe radiology/pathology dictation; manage EMR documents.
