Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified medical assistants with active credentials (RMA, CCMA, CMA) as listed by AMT, NHA, NCCT, and AAMA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider and clinical staff with patient intake, vital signs, and rooming.
• Obtain patient history, review of systems, and document in chart per protocol.
• May draw blood and prepare specimens; administer medications or vaccines as directed.
• Manage referral scheduling and CPT/ICD-10 coding for referrals or labs.
• Maintain HIPAA and CLIA compliance; ensure accurate documentation in EMR.
