Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Medical Informatics Program Coordinator to drive the enterprise-wide rollout of an Epic EHR system. You will serve as a key liaison between Clinical Informatics, IT, and frontline clinicians to align strategy across all regions, monitor milestones, and address bottlenecks.

Under the System Director of Medical Informatics, you will manage timelines, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure resources meet implementation targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare-related field.
• Experience coordinating large, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and IT-enabled change management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration between System, Regional, and Market teams to track EHR milestones and escalate barriers
• Support Go-Live governance, including meeting coordination, SBAR tracking, and change requests
• Coordinate provider workflow optimization by managing logistics and training communications
• Monitor data on EHR progress and provider outcomes with Clinical Informatics
• Oversee readiness initiatives and ensure departmental preparedness
• Triage design escalations and communicate updates to stakeholders

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical InformaticsProgram Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the enterprise-wide rollout of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. You will serve as a key liaison between Clinical Informatics, IT departments, and frontline clinicians to ensure seamless alignment across all CommonSpirit Health regions. By facilitating clear communication and tracking critical milestones, you will act as a primary driver in synchronizing our system-wide strategy, ultimately ensuring that our technical implementation efforts directly support our broader clinical and operational goals.

Every day you will monitor, document, and report on the specific metrics and benchmarks associated with the Epic Gold EHR implementation program. You will work closely under the direction of the System Director of Medical Informatics to manage the lifecycle of key initiatives, ensuring that project timelines are met and potential bottlenecks are proactively addressed. Your daily workflow will involve coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, maintaining robust tracking systems for project progress, and ensuring that all stakeholders have the necessary resources to meet rigorous implementation targets.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a deep understanding of EHR optimization, clinical workflow standardization, and provider adoption strategies. You will demonstrate the ability to translate complex technical milestones into actionable tasks for clinical and IT stakeholders, fostering an environment of collaboration and accountability. Your expertise in project management, coupled with a commitment to high-performance benchmarks, will be essential as you guide regional teams through the complexities of the Epic Gold transition to improve patient outcomes and system-wide clinical efficiency.

• Facilitate seamless coordination between System, Regional, and Market teams to track EHR milestones and **escalate** technical barriers
• Provide comprehensive support for Go-Live governance, including meeting coordination, SBAR tracking, and change request management
• Drive provider workflow optimization by managing project logistics, training communications, and engagement campaigns
• Partner with Clinical Informatics to monitor, analyze, and present data-driven reports on EHR progress and provider outcomes
• Oversee operational readiness initiatives by managing checklists, tracking outstanding tasks, and ensuring departmental preparedness
• Act as a primary liaison for stakeholder communication, triage of design escalations, and the dissemination of critical implementation updates

Job Requirements

Required:

• Bachelors Of Nursing,Bachelors Of Science, Bachelors of Arts or equivalent of relevant education and/or experience in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or a related clinical or health IT field may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• 2 years minimum experience supporting project coordination, change management, or operational readiness activities in a large healthcare setting.

Preferred:

• 2 years experience working in clinical or medical informatics.
• 2 years minimum clinical or healthcare experience
• 1-3 years experience with Epic EHR
• 1-3 years experience coordinating projects
• Experience with large diverse projects, including planning, facilitating and implementation
