Memorial Health System is seeking a clerical associate for its Medical Imaging Services. The role focuses on providing secretarial support, greeting patients, and handling records with accuracy.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of clerical experience; basic computer skills and medical terminology familiarity are preferred. This on-site role contributes to safety, courtesy, quality, and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Minimum of 1 year secretarial/clerical experience required.
• Medical terminology background preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Near visual acuity to assure proper filing and handling of records.

Responsabilités

• Greets, communicates effectively and registers/checks in outpatients in a positive, accurate and professional manner.
• Answers phones utilizing proper phone etiquette to provide great customer service.
• Prepares digital images for continuation of care, medical records, and patients.
• Ensures proper recording and transmission of appropriate patient and exam indicator information.
• Acts as liaison between patient areas, staff, Radiology Information System staff and Radiologists for reporting critical results.
