Responsibilities

• Transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher or chair to designated sites.
• Manage workflow in clinical imaging areas.
• Coordinate patient flow and assign tasks to staff under leadership.
• Create electronic files for release of information to authorized individuals using proper forms.
• Manage electronic imaging exam queues and oversee interpretation workflow.
• Audit un-interpreted exams and ensure correct storage of files.
• Communicate imaging findings to caregivers and verify critical results.
• Greet patients, verify prescriptions and schedule appointments; liaise with other departments.
• Assist with lift assists and repositioning of patients.
• Perform post-procedural cleanup and restocking tasks.
• Assist with inventory control.
