Job summary

One Physics LLC is seeking a Health Physicist to support hospitals, imaging centers, and outpatient facilities in the Hershey/Central PA region. You will perform equipment performance evaluations, acceptance testing, and annual surveys under qualified medical physicists, while assisting with radiation protection programs and regulatory compliance.

You will work with senior physicists and RSOs, travel between client sites, and contribute to safeguarding staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics or related field; field experience may be considered.
• Prior experience as a medical physicist assistant, radiologic technologist, or QC technologist preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging and radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging equipment performance evaluations, acceptance testing, and annual surveys under supervision.
• Assist in audits and inspections of radiation safety programs for regulatory compliance.
• Support Radiation Protection Programs and related procedures for medical clients.
• Analyze occupational dosimetry data and prepare action recommendations for exposures exceeding ALARA.
• Assist with shielding evaluations and design reviews for imaging facilities.
• Calibrate, maintain, and inventory test equipment and ensure calibration readiness.
• Provide on-site support during regulator inspections and audits.
