One Physics LLC is seeking a Health Physicist to support hospitals and imaging centers in the Indianapolis area. You will perform diagnostic imaging equipment evaluations and support radiation protection programs to ensure NRC and state compliance.

You will collaborate with senior physicists and RSOs, perform acceptance testing, shielding reviews, and dosimetry support while maintaining ALARA standards across sites in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, medical physics, health physics, radiologic science, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• Experience as a medical physicist assistant, radiologic technologist, or QC technologist is preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostic x‑ray and fluoroscopic equipment performance testing and image quality evaluation.

Responsabilités

• Perform performance evaluations and annual surveys on diagnostic x-ray equipment.
• Assist in audits and inspections of radiation safety programs for regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and review Radiation Protection Programs for medical clients.
• Monitor dosimetry data and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Assist with shielding evaluations and design reviews for imaging facilities.
• Conduct area surveys and exposure assessments for controlled/unrestricted areas.
• Support registration and regulatory documentation for radiation-producing devices.
• Provide on-site support during regulator inspections and client audits.
• Deliver training on radiation safety and ALARA principles to staff.
