Job summary

The Department of Radiology Health Physics at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA, is seeking a non-tenure line Diagnostic Medical Physicist (Assistant Professor) to support imaging physics activities at the College and Penn State Health's five medical centers and numerous outpatient clinics.

This role offers growth and learning opportunities across radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT, ultrasound, mammographic, MR, and nuclear medicine/PET imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in medical physics or a related discipline.
• At least two years of clinical diagnostic radiology/nuclear medicine physics experience.
• ABR certification or eligibility; faculty appointment post-certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced imaging clinical support across modalities.
• Perform acceptance testing and QA oversight.
• Supervise physicist assistants and educate technologists, residents, and physicians.
