One Physics LLC is seeking a Health Physicist to support hospitals, imaging centers, and outpatient facilities in the Cleveland, OH area. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging equipment evaluations, ensuring radiation safety program compliance, and collaborating with senior physicists and RSOs.

The ideal candidate will have a physics-related degree, familiarity with NRC/OH regulations, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physics, medical physics, health physics, radiologic science, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• Experience as a medical physicist assistant, radiologic technologist, or QC technologist preferred.
• Familiarity with NRC and OH regulations, ANSI, NCRP, AAPM, and ACR standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform performance evaluations, acceptance testing, and annual surveys on diagnostic X-ray equipment.
• Assist in audits and inspections of radiation safety programs for regulatory compliance.
• Support development and review of Radiation Protection Programs for medical clients.
• Analyze occupational dosimetry data and prepare corrective action recommendations.
• Assist with shielding evaluations and design reviews for imaging facilities.
• Maintain records and draft reports for regulatory authorities and accrediting bodies.
• Calibrate, maintain, and inventory test equipment for field deployment.
• Provide on-site technical support during regulator inspections.
